He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Fitzgerald and Helen Weatherhead. He is survived by: his wife Maria (Battaglini); his sons, Kevin (Lauren) and Garrett Fitzgerald (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Loghan, Owen, Aidan and Alaina Fitzgerald; his siblings-in-law, Gio Battaglini, Kevin Battaglini and Alberta; his nieces and nephews, Mitchell, Ryan, Christina, Colton Battaglini and Alberta; and his aunt Modesta.
In his memory, donations to St. Peter's Cathedral Renovation Fund, the Peterborough Humane Society or Autism Canopy Support Service, Peterborough would be appreciated by his family.
