He is survived by: his wife Uma Devi Nair; his children, Malini, Geetha (Somi), Shanthi (Ajay) and Gopi Krishna (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Eric (Larissa), Maya, Evan, Anjali, Liam and Kieran; and his siblings, Krish (late Nina) and Sheila (Dwarka).
