He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Stresman (Stencell); his former wife Margaret Stresman; his daughter Mary Smith (late Don); his stepchildren, Ruby Jurevicius (late Zigfrid) and Welland Stencell (Mary); his parents, Charles Stresman and Annie Stresman; and his siblings, Ewald (late Mable), Edward (late Frances), Herbert (late Olga), Theodore (late Elda), August (late Myrtle), Arpa Remus (late Edward), Selma Gould (late Gordon) and Esther Stresman.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Bernhard (Ron) of Salmon Arm, B. C.; and his stepsons, Harold Stencell (Leah), Kenny Stencell (late Shirley), Larry Stencell (Maureen), Orville Stencell and David Stencell. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
