He was predeceased by: his parents, Melbourne Hampel and Phyllis Hampel; and his brother Roger Hampel. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Hampel; his child Erin Hampel; his siblings, Grant Hampel (late Val), Blake Hampel (Marilyn) and Tracy Hampel; and his uncle Wayne. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
