She was predeceased by: her husband Grant Patterson; her sisters, Diane Hall (late Chet), Barbara McMurray (late Robert) and Donna Crossman (John); and her parents, Edward Schultz and Beatrice Schultz.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Patterson (Michelle) and Terry Patterson; and her grandchildren, Holly (Brett), Benjamin (Moira), Alyssa and Ashley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
