She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Gordon Helferty; her parents, John Lesnick and Winnifred Lesnick; and her siblings, Doreen Gribbon (late Herb), Joan Risto (late Stan), George (Dolores) and Thomas Lesnick (Joan).
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Helferty, Alan Helferty (Joanne) and Barry Helferty (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Mandy, Jessica, Kyal-Joe and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Colin, Payton and Ambrose; and her brother John Lesnick (Paulette). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
