He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Mailman (Tribe); his parents, Merville Mailman and Margaret Mailman (Amirault); and his siblings, Brenda, Linda and Brian.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kellie-Sue Mailman of Spryfield, N. S. and Sheryl Mailman of Petawawa, Ontario; his brother Doug Mailman; and his grandchildren, Alyssa Gordon (Roger), Lindsay Gordon (Zachary) and William LeBlanc. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
