He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle Brownell and Catherine Brownell; and his siblings, John, Mary, Betty and Judy.
He is survived by: his wife Faith Horne Brownell (Faye); his siblings, Jim (Paulette), Cathy MacDonell (Clarke), Roy, Larry (Sue), Terry (Denise), Bill (Ruby) and Dorothy Gellately (Ross); his in-laws, Vale, Don Scissons and Alan Neville; and also, Neil (Grace), Bradley (late Carol Ann), James (Marlene) and Karen King (RJ Ferguson). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Tom's memory.
