He was predeceased by: his former wife Joyce Burakoff (Beacham); his son Peter Burakoff; his grandson Mark Rumsby; and his siblings, Alex Burakoff, Nellie Girvan, Mike, Ed and Adolph Burakoff.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Burakoff (Wood); his daughter Linda Burakoff Rumsby (Wayne Rumsby); his grandchildren, Lynn Rumsby, Philip, William, Douglas Burakoff and Erin Lantz (Richard); his great grandchildren, Kara and Callie Lantz; and his daughter-in-law Joanna Burakoff-Hayhoe. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Friday September 11th, 2020 from 2:00 to 5:00 P. M. Due to covid-19 restrictions, the funeral and interment in Lombardy Union Cemetery will be private for family and friends.
