He was predeceased by: his parents, Kate Sargeant (Echlin) and Garnet Sargeant; and his sister Donna Barr. He is survived by: his children, Shelley (Tony DiBartolomeo), Peter (Kellie Mather) and Kevin (Kyla Pennie); his grandchildren, Calista, Gage, Kobe, Luke, Tiegann, Kiye, Jasmaya, Avaia and Anouk; and his siblings, Norma (late Don Melanson), Darleen Sargeant (Ray Storie) and Rick Sargeant (Joan). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
