He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Hermer and Evangeline Hermer; his stepson Jason Bron; his stepgreat-granddaughter Astrella Murphy; and his siblings, Chuck Hermer (Marilyn), Elva Shanks (Joe) and Mary.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Janice Bron; his sons, Dwayne, Eric Hermer and Joey Kean; his stepdaughter Janna Bron; his stepgrandchildren, Carlie, Justin Bron, Kobie Murphy and Lucas Maskell; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Carter Thompson Bron and Olive Nash; and his siblings, Roger Hermer (Karen), Ken Hermer (Orlanda), Norman Hermer (Donna), Muriel McDonald (Jim) and Sharon Mieske (Bradley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blair & Son Funeral Home (15 Gore St W, Perth, ON K7H2L7). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Lanark Food Bank would be appreciated.
