He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Kerr (Laughlin) and Francis "Frank" Kerr; his daughters, Kara Kerr and Kenna McMillan; his siblings, Edna Norwood, Hazel Brash, Stella Gordanier, Alice Reid, James, Patrick, Tom, Walter, Michael and Gerald Kerr; his wife Bonnie D. Kerr (Bonsall); his child Chris Kerr (Kelly); his family, Mackenzie, Kennedy Kerr and Corbin Kerr (Patti); his son-in-law Mark McMillan; his grandchildren, Michael McMillan and Lynsey McMillan; and also Jayden.

He is survived by: his sisters, Monica Robidoux and Edith Clark. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family.
