She was predeceased by: her parents, William Umpherson and Frances Umpherson (David J. Spence). She is survived by: her children, David Spence (late Lee), Susan VanAndel (William), Anne Spence, Sheila Spence (Bill Kevan) and Lori Spence (Rob Sinclair); her grandchildren, Drew, Rebecca Spence, Brad VanAndel, Caitlin VanAndel Ritums (Ryan), Luke Spence Byrd (Kallie) and Sebastian Byrd (Tina); her great grandchildren, Atreyu Byrd and Orion George Byrd; her siblings, Charles Umpherson (Gladys Millar), Earl Umpherson, Dorothy Ireton and Esther Jackson (Arthur Umpherson); and her husband David. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and good friends.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the arrangements and interment services in White Cemetery, Poland will be held privately.
