She is survived by: her sister Denise Charland of Trois Rivières; her children, Lynn (Don Preston), Donna, Bruce (Reta), Kathleen (Bob Besharah) and Kevin; her grandchildren, Caleb, Collin, Conor Kinnear, Scott Johnson, Jacquelyn Howden (Parker), Kya Besharah (Mike Wood) and Lauren Davis (Andrew); and her great grandchildren, Emily, Cade, Parker, Jonas, Aryk, Kinder, Burke, Kinsley and Abigail.

“I knew Evelyn from the bookstore in Cornwall. She, along with friends Ruby Wilson and (the other) Evelyn Whaley walked down each day, rain or shine for the exercise. They had their route. Over the years, I learned much about them and their families, and what made them keep going. Always impeccably dressed, when I heard that Evelyn had moved to Perth, I was glad for her - she loved her children.”
