She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin; her sister Jean Garrett (Harris); her brother-in-law Hillis Crozier; and her parents, Howard Popplewell and Ethel Popplewell (Stewart).
She is survived by: her children, Linda (Larry) and David; her granddaughters, Lindsay (Andrew), Brooke (Nelson), Sarah (Jesse) and Brandy (Tom); her great grandchildren, Owen and Atlee; and her sister Mary Crozier. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, her church friends, and her euchre family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Paul's United Church (25 Gore St W, Perth, ON K7H2L9). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In remembrance of Ethel, memorial donations to Zealand United Cemetery or fund of one's choice would be appreciated.
