He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hermer and Ila Hermer. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Jason (Jamie-Lynn) and Laura Shilson (Brandon); his siblings, Joan Brake (Cal), Anne Perry (Kirk), Keith (Cheryl), Dan (Wanda), Gary (Dawn), Daryl (Christina) and Dale (Jennifer); and his uncle Arnold (Penny). He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Donations in memory of Doug to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
