She was predeceased by: her husband John H. McLaren; her siblings, Barbara Lansing (Peters) of London and George Peters of Aylmer Quebec; and her stepgrandchildren, Sarah Marquardt and James Marquardt of Ottawa.
She is survived by: her children, Katherine McLaren (Richard Marquardt) of Perth and Robert McLaren (Mary Morrissey) of Halifax; her granddaughter Kelsey McLaren (Jim McAlpine); her great grandchild Isobel McAlpine; her nephew Peter Lawrence (Margaret); and her nieces, Helen Barnes (Ron), Barbara Dell and Elizabeth Dell.
