He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fletcher Sherwin and Vera Winnifred House; his former wife Esther Mildred Belton; and his son Donald James "Jamie". He is survived by: his wife Christina Charlotta McGuire of Perth; his daughters, Nancy Jean Sherwin of Port Dover and Wendy Ann Owens (John) of Constance Bay; his granddaughters, Katherine and Jennifer Owens; and his brother William Webster Sherwin.
