We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2025, at the age of 79, Dawn Frances Ann Gibson Fortin (Perth, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Viola Gibson. She is survived by: her husband Robert Fortin; her daughters, Serena Deschamps (Ron Deschamps) and Samantha Fortin (Graham Atkinson); her grandchildren, Gabrielle Bernier (Victor Avelar), Samuel Bernier (Elie Pablo) and Lou Binet (Maddie Beauchamp); and her sisters, Irene Gauthier (late Eugene 'Sonny' Gauthier), Joy Clancy (Tom Clancy) and Gay Rose Page.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Blair and Sons Funeral Home (15 Gore St W, Perth, ON K7H2L7). Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers to the family, we request that donations be sent to a long-term care home in your community or to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory.
