He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Spence (Umpherson) and David Spence; and his wife Brenda Lee Spence (McDaniel). He is survived by: his children, Drew and Rebecca Spence; and his sisters, Susan VanAndel (Bill), Anne Spence, Sheila Spence (late Bill Kevan) and Lori Spence (Rob Sinclair).
