He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Popplewell and Doris Popplewell (Chaplin); and his brothers, Mark (Lori) and Matthew (Lisa). He is survived by: his sister Dawn Asselstine (Mike); his nieces and nephews, Nathanial (Candice), Melissa Asselstine (Brandon), Nolan, Christopher Popplewell (Patricia), Samuel and Luke Popplewell; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Liam, Blaire Asselstine and Lorenzo Gregorio-Popplewell.

In remembrance of Dave, donations to the dialysis unit at the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation, Smiths Falls site would be appreciated.
