He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Sherrill Douglas; his stepchildren, Karen Newnham, Lori Newnham (Robert Beauchesne) and Dyan Newnham (John Grant); and his grandchildren, Megan Kellerman Trevor Hopkins (Stephen Quinn) and Erin Beauchesne.

A reception was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Blair & Son Funeral Home (15 Gore St W, Perth, ON K7H2L7).
