She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Burke and Ida Burke (Kelly); her husband William Jordan; her sons, Douglas, Dale, Philip and Gary; and her siblings, Ella May Pearse (Desmond), Margaret Burke Ballard (Frank), Andy Burke (Lillian), Morley Burke (Olive), Daniel Burke, Don Jordan (Jean), Bob Bell (Jean) and Ron Irvine (Evelyn).

She is survived by: her daughter Susan Murphy (Terry); her grandchildren, Kristi Suffield, Jason, Tessa, Kyle Jordan, Adam and Alex Murphy; her great grandchildren, Callie and Declan Suffield; her brother Keith; and her sister-in-law Maxine Jordan. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In remembrance of Carmel, contributions to the Parkinson Foundation or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
