He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Black and Venita Black; his close friend Helen; his stepchildren, Patricia Pomeroy (Paul Heaney), Stephen Pomeroy (Christal) and John Pomeroy; his grandchildren, Alison Everest (Chad), Jessica Coulas (Chris), Kristina Black (Alex Girard), Kaitlin Carlson (Steve), Conor Black (Karyne Michaud), Carley Lawrence (Jason Brimner), Mike Lawrence (Leanne), Jodi Lawrence (Paul Duncan), Andrea Black and Holly Belcourt (Jacob); his stepgrandchildren, Mason Pomeroy (Brianna Munch) and Chloe Pomeroy (Vinny Martino); and his former wife Loral Spence. He was also cherished by four children.
