She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Buchanan; her parents, Clarence Giff and Fern Giff; her brother Ron "Butch" Giff; her siblings-in-law, Glen Buchanan (late Mary), Vina Kirkham (late Dave), Ethel Valliquette (late Bernard) and Donald Buchanan; and her nieces and nephews, Judy and Terry.

She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Michaelis (late Butch); her siblings-in-law, Jean Hanna (late Merrill) and Joyce Valliquette (Ozzie); and her nieces and nephews, Robert (Sherry), Linda (Ron), Bonnie (late Terry), Connie (Brian), Dale (Ronda), Cory (Greg), Anita (George), Heather (Dave), Kenny (Robin), Wayne (Irene), Merrill (Judy), Ray (Janice), Murray (late Sharon), Stephen, Allen (Michelle), Denise (Tim) and Annette (late Leonard). She is also survived by her extended family and friends.
