Arnold Mitchell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold Mitchell (Perth, Ontario), who passed away on May 22, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Mitchell and Martha Mitchell (Sweeny); his wife Shirley I. Mitchell (McNicol); his stepson Wayne McNicol; his sister Agnes; and his stepsiblings, Everett and Fern.

He is survived by: his children, Robert (late Elizabeth), Donald, Ellen Cole (Gerry) and Diane Ladouceur (Doug); his siblings, Elizabeth Vaughn (late Desmond), Frank Mitchell (late Doris), Frank Emon, Marina (late James), Elliot and Florence Healey (late Tom); and his stepsiblings, Lou Labelle, Boyd Roberts and Eric Labelle (late Diane). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and many, many friends.

In remembrance of Arnold, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute, 40 Ruskin St, Ottawa, ON K1Y 4W7 would be appreciated.
