He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie and Delina; and his brothers, John, Murray and Howard.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Debbie and Sandy (George Zanin); his grandchildren, Jessica Tkachuk (Nik), Ashley and Kaitlyn; and his siblings, Linda and David. He is also survived by his many brother and sister inlaws, nieces and nephews.
