He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Monague; his child Terry "Sonny" Monague; his parents, Ramie Sylvester and Dora King; his siblings, Glenda Snache, Roy Sylvester, Basil Sylvester, Dave Sylvester (Sharon), Candace Sylvester and Marlene Sandy (Graham); and also, Peter Sylvester, Anne Stinson and Harold Sylvester.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Monague (Randy) and Jennifer Sylvester; and his grandchildren, Tara, Kieran (Nicole), Brennan and Hayden. He is also survived by his sister and brother in laws, many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Christian Island Recreation Centre (11 Ogemaa Miikaan, Christian Island, ON L9M0A9).
