He was predeceased by: his sister Shirley. He is survived by: his sister Margaret; his cousins, Charles Southall (Eileen), Suzanne Woolley (Keith), Carol Southall (Danielle) and Gary Southall (Peter Lees); his close friend Gordon Poole; his stepdaughter Laury Drury (Neil); his stepgrandsons, Tristan and Kieran Drury; and his friend Danielle Robitaille.

Donations in memory of Roy may be made to either of his two chosen charities: Barrie food Bank or La Maison Rosewood Shelter in Midland.
