With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Gonzalez (Penetanguishene, Ontario), who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Gonzalez Garcia and Alice Gonzalez (Parker); the mother of his children Denise Gonzalez (Rocheleau); and his siblings, William (late Jacqueline), Isabelle and Henry (late Evelyn).
He is survived by: his wife Julie Gonzalez (Taylor); his children, Pedro (Lizanne), Michelle and Patrice (Leanne); his stepchildren, Derek, Darryl and Melanie; his grandchildren, Ashley (Matthew), Michael, Jonathan (Giselle), Natalie (Ryan), Nikko (Nicholle), Erica (Travis), Joshua (Lindsay), Brianna (Cody), Zachary (Jess), Matthew (Maria), Cole, Emmett, Asher and Tessa; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Addilyn, Margot, Grant, Jack, Wendy, Ava, Bennett, Wesley, Aneilia, Isla and June; his sister Diane Stamco (late George); his son-in-law Dennis; and also Amber.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 68 (2 Poyntz St, Penetanguishene, ON L9M1M2).
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Ron, donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 68 Penetanguishene, Alzheimer's Society of Simcoe County or the Canadian Cancer Society.
