He was predeceased by: his son Wayne Dorion; his brothers, Germain, Alfred Jr. (Rita) and Alcime; and his parents, Alfred Sr. Dorion and Eunice Dorion.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Dorion; his daughters, Martha Dorion and Pauline Vanduson; and his siblings, Venard (Anne), Bernard (Sally), Rita Lawrence, Clothide (Archie) and Ella May (Francis). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
