He was predeceased by: his wife Stella Lespérance; his grandchildren, Céline and Luc; and his siblings, Cécile Marion, Claudia Lafrenière, Rosina Grozelle, Hilaire, Armand, Alcime, Edmond and Raymond Bellaire.

He is survived by: his children, Shirley Vaillancourt (Jim), Sharon Cook (late Rick) and Diane Lespérance (Peter Wu); and his siblings, Clothilde Mailloux and Philip Lespérance (Ella-May). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated and will be accepted by the Penetanguishene Funeral Home.
