With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelson Mayer (Penetanguishene, Ontario), who passed away on February 26, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Barb Kent (Doug); and his siblings, Lionel (Anita), Marshall (Jackie), Ray (Doris), Clorraine Grozelle and Marie Yates.

He is survived by: his close friend Donna Lesperance; his children, Brenda Pitts (Randy), Duke Mayer (Brenda), Crystal Mayer, Angie Binns (Kirk) and Ryan Buttineau; and his sister Patsy Marchildon (late Maurice).

Memorial donations to Hospice Huronia or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family if desired.
