She was predeceased by: her husband Bradley Cowan; and her parents, Martin and Norma. She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly and Rachelle (Trevor); her granddaughters, Madison and Summer; and her siblings, Randy (Johanne), Shelley (Fern), Colleen (Terry), Chris (Kim), Tara (Kevin), Carole, Doug (Jane), Dan (Patty), Brenda and Kathy. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
