He is survived by: his parents, Scott Gaines and Stacey Beckles-Gaines; his siblings, Aliyah Cartwright and Malik Richards; his grandparents, Iyola Beckles, Sandra Gaines and Gordon Gaines; his brother-in-law Andrew Cartwright; his uncles, Gordon (Michelle) and Randy (Tracey); his aunt Susan; his cousins, Amanda, Nicholas, Nathan, Hayden, Emily Madore and Eric Madore; his close friends, Eidan, Oreo, Boedi and Lucy; and his family Anne Gannon.

Any donations in excess of the goal will be donated to Music Therapy Services of Simcoe County.
