She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Maurice and Maria Maurice (Ladouceur); her daughter Adele (Pilon); and her siblings, Jeannine Maurice, Odette Dignard, Marie-Paule Lafreniere and Gilles Maurice.

She is survived by: her husband Ligouri Laurin; her children, Annette Jones (Don), Marc (Jean), Rene (Elizabeth) and Claude (Sandy); her sisters, Aline Jessome (late Jerome) and Prima Moreau (late Bernard); her sisters-in-law, Ghisele Maurice (late Gilles), Yvonne Ladouceur (late Bernard) and Irma Archer (late Leonard); and her son-in-law Romeo Pilon. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation, Community Reach, Sick Kids Hospital, or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
