It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lacey Monague (Penetanguishene, Ontario), who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to Lacey's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Lacey has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her father Lionel Monague. She is survived by: her mother Lenore King; her stepfather Craig Monague; and her brothers, Dan (Cindy) and Wayne Monague (Keri).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Christian Island United Church (146 Mkade Kegwin Miikan, Christian Island, ON L9M0A9). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Cemetery (90 O'Gemaa Miikan, Simcoe County, ON L9M0A9). A reception was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Christian Island United Church (146 Mkade Kegwin Miikan, Christian Island, ON L9M0A9).
Flowers are welcomed and donations can be made to the Niijii Fund in honor of Lacey.
