With solemn reverence, we commemorate Jeanette Pilon of Penetanguishene, Ontario, whose life came to an end on August 28, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Pilon; her father Robert Lacroix (Bob); and her siblings, Diane Dubeau (late Andre) and Leonard Lacroix (late Margaret). She is survived by: her children, Darlene Pilon (Blair Stotesbury), Glenn Pilon (late Lorinda), Brian Pilon (Nancy) and Terry Pilon (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Adrien Stotesbury (Erica Therens), Rebecca Stotesbury (Eric Labrie), Sarah Pilon (Jeff Warnock), Anna Pilon (Duncan Woods) and Christopher Pilon; her great grandchildren, Eli, Henry, Nora Warnock, William Woods and Gracie Pilon; and her sister Stella Pike (Arthur). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home (155 Main St, Penetanguishene, ON L9M1L7). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Church (28 Robert St W, Penetanguishene, ON L9M1L6). A burial was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery (53 Owen St, Penetanguishene, ON L9M1N3). A reception was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Ann's Church (28 Robert St W, Penetanguishene, ON L9M1L6).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice Huronia - Tomkins House Foundation, the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County or the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Jeanette.
