It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Gignac (Penetanguishene, Ontario), who passed away on November 10, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Gignac; her parents, Andrew Odesse and Velma Odesse; and her sister Lena Gauthier. She is survived by: her children, Anne Dorion (Venard), Thomas Gignac (Caroline), Peter Gignac, Kim Duquette, Mary Theresa Cowan (Ken) and Shelley Gignac; and her brothers, Phil Odesse and Paul Odesse.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Ann's Church, Penetanguishene on Saturday November 30th at 10 a.m. If desired memorial donations to the Georgian Bay General Hospital would be appreciated by the family and will be received by the Penetanguishene Funeral Home.
