She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter and Elsie; and her brother Bob (Betty). She is survived by: her husband Gerhard Kreisel; her son Tom (Pattie); her stepchild Jurgen (Marilyn); her grandchildren, Christopher and Vanessa; and her sister Karen (Tom).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Hospice Huronia- Tomkins House.
