He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James and Muriel Rowe. He is survived by: his parents, Margaret Swales and John Swales; his siblings, Bonnie Lantz and Chad Archibald; his niece Maggie DeCourcy; his aunt Pat; and his cousin Vicky.

Due to Covid-19, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
