She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Austrian Josef Lau; her family Josef; her parents, Adalbert and Adelheid; her siblings, Wilhelm, Engelbert, Alois, Walter, Adelinde and Hermann (Lorraine); her siblings-in-law, Alfred, Hilde, Pius and Eugenie; her niece Natasha; her nephews, Andre, David and Adalbert; her daughters, Christine (David), Irene and Andrea (Darrell); her grandchildren, Cameron (Jen), Drew (Camille), Jacob and Gabriele; her sister Dorothea (Wolfram); her siblings-in-law, Erwin, Alma, Dallas, Sandy and Imelda; and also Rosalyn. She was also cherished by her many relatives, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Canada or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research would be appreciated.
