He was predeceased by: his wife Anita Moreau; and his siblings, Evodia, Lucille (Lou), Vince, Lorraine (Nan), Rose Marie (Toni), John and Teresa.

He is survived by: his children, Michael (Karen Irene), Karen Patricia, Mary Lynn Brais (Ian Spice), John David (Ron Morgan) and Christopher Matthew (Kim); his grandchildren, Lindsay, Eric, Craig, Keirsten, Jarrett, Tori, Matthew, Mellissa and Malinda; his great grandchildren, Ian, Cameron, Abigail, Alex, Pyper, Tanner and Landon; and his siblings, Paul, Bill, Peter and Anne.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
