He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Carter. He is survived by: his children, Frances English (Edward), Steven Duhamel, Nancy Carter of Morrisburg, ON, Christine Carter, New Westminster, Claude Carter (Butch), Randy Duhamel and Lawrence Duhamel; and his siblings, David Carter, Joan Costello, Marguerite Kussey (Peg), Edward (Ted), Nicholas (Nick), Jack, James, Thomas and Robert Carter. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
