He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Douglas Roland and Joyce Rye; his children, Shelly Lachapelle of Pembroke, Kristy Rye of Cobden and Kathy Rye (Kevin Burnette) of Renfrew; his grandchildren, Nicholas Halliday, Kristin Plumley (Eric), Brandon Halliday, Yzer Tubman, Piper Tubman, Kyle Dejoode (Gabby), Ryan Rye, Peyton, Thea, Wyatt Plumley, Bentley and Lynkin Dejoode; and his siblings, Brian, Bonnie, Brenda and Douglas. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
