He is survived by: his wife Sara Shannon-Adaway; his aunt Norma Henderson; his cousins, Catriona of Scotland and Alyson Henderson of Scotland; his friends, Natalie Sachar, Paul, Mary McClelland, Australian, Arthur and Debbie Brook; his nephew Simon; and also, Callum, Ronan, Natasha and Alex.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Simon can be made to the St Vincent de Paul Society (Pembroke) or the Renfrew, Pembroke or Ottawa Hospital Foundations.
