We bid farewell to Robert Handspiker (Pembroke, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 28, 2024 at the age of 85. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Simone (Larose); his parents, Reginald and Annie-Mae (Chutte); his children, Kevin Richard (Sue Hammel) and Kelly (David Healy); and also, Patricia, Judy, Janet, Vernon and Peter.
He is survived by: his children, Nicole (Robert Adams), Randall Richard (Susan), Timothy, Joanne Desrochers and Lianne (Murray Spring); and his brothers, Brian (Eva) and Wayne (Virginia). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Neville Funeral Home (491 Isabella St, Pembroke, ON K8A5T8). A prayer was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (202 Pembroke St E, Pembroke, ON K8A3J7). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jean Baptiste Church (500 Isabella St, Pembroke, ON K8A5T9).
