She was predeceased by: her husband Lynn Edward Mathewson; her parents, Hector and Odélide; her children, Laurie Lafrance (Robert) and Jamie (Joanne); her stepsons, Ken and Mike (Dianne); her grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Travis, Joshuah, Kristen, Jesse, Tiffany, Ethan, Brady, Emily and Brooklyn; and her great grandchildren, Tyson, Marty, Islah, Gabrielle, John and Callum.

She is survived by: her siblings, Joyce Shannon (Mel), Jerry (Barb), Helen Schruder (Larry) and Brenda.
