She was predeceased by: her husband John Clifford Samms; her siblings, Nina Samms (late John), Jim Misseau, Harold Miesseau (late Donna), Tom Miesseau and George Miesseau; and her parents, Thomas Miesseau and Agnes Miesseau.

She is survived by: her children, Derrick Samms (Connie) of Pembroke, Glenn Samms (Chantale) of Pembroke, Colleen Szombathelyi (Dean) of Pembroke and Tommy Samms (Melissa) of Deep River; her grandchildren, Cory Nagora, Josh (Jenna), Luke (Sierra), Devon (Ashley), Madison, Savanah (Gage) and Vanessa Samms; her great grandchildren, McKenna, Bryce, Alexander Nagora and Hunter Samms; her siblings, Marion Pollari (late Al), Nelson Miesseau (Shirley) and Blanche Davis (Hugh); and her sisters-in-law, Catherine Misseau and Brenda Miesseau.
