She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Sheppard; her parents, Charlie Mackay and Mabel Mackay; her sister Ann Gifford; and her grandson Stephen Sheppard.

She is survived by: her sons, Richard (Ann), Robert (Jane), Donald, Graham (Jenny) and Ian (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Rebecca (Ryan), Bruce (Crystal), Haley (P. A.), Phil (Jenny), Mackenzie, Olivia (Kyle), Abbey and Liam; and her great grandchildren, Thomas, Logan, Oliver, Kaelyn, Elizabeth, Ricky, Nolan, Emmarae and Tayanie.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to CHEO.
